Newmarket Santa Parade

Santa Clause came to Newmarket, ON! He arrived in style with a nice parade an all. Santino and his friend Joe enjoyed the front row view of the parade.

The sun was shining, people around were cheering, elves and other Santa helpers were giving out candy canes. Both Santino and Joe tried the candy canes for the first time.

The parade started at 11 am and proceeded on Main St almost down to Davis drive. I can't stress enough what a wonderful day it was. The parade ended at 12:15, and it felt just right, not too long and not too short.

Santino's favorite part was the beginning, when the fire trucks started pretty much the whole thing. Then we enjoyed various local businesses and organizations presenting their view of Christmas greetings. We were surprised to see how many dance studios there are in Newmarket.

Santa closed the parade, bringing cheer and hopes for a wonderful holiday season! I'm still not ready to decorate the house though. I think we'll do it in the beginning of December
